Sixty km from the South of Paris is a sunny plain in the forest of Villefermoy. In its center, a village called “La Chapelle Rablais” with its castle, its farms…and its forest houses.
Life led me to one of them in July 2005 as I was at a turning point of my life. The day before my arrival, I was still living in the South of France, so dry there, a burning land ! Around Paris, in summer, the soil is fresh, the grass is luscious and the tree branches are weighed down by green and lush leaves. Change of scene!
What I felt in that quiet place made me want to create a housing project for travelers visiting this region.
Cities and castles full of history stand there within 20 km.
A little further, the forest of Fontainebleau or the Gâtinais offer so many bucolic landscapes . Dairy products and famous cheese like the “Brie” are proposed by farms around and the bread you eat there is probably the best you have ever eaten, directly from “the attic of France”. The forest surrounding the property is open to our guests for unlimited walks, and moreover Eurodisney land is only 40 km away.
