Just three stone steps to enter this apartment where your eye is immediately attracted by the floor tiles. Its orange tone fits so well with the old wood color still there in the main room.
I redid the floor of the bedrooms with beech I bought to the sawmill nearby. I whitewashed the stone walls as for outdoors. I made a patina on the doors to make them fit with the country-side look of the whole.
The bedroom windows are very low and a slanting light on the ground gives a feeling of warm and privacy to the different parts.
I know the people who lived in the house before I arrived. The living-room was divided in two parts: a bedroom and a kitchen, as it used to be in farms. Today, space allows sun light to light up to the far wall.
